Time to move forward
Parashat D’varim – Deuteronomy 1:1–3:22D’
🕯️ Key Verse:
“You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Turn and set out on your journey…”
—Deuteronomy 1:6
As Moses recounts Israel’s wilderness journey, he reminds them of God’s faithfulness—even amid their failures. The message is clear: remember the past, but don’t be trapped by it. God’s command to “move on” is a call to trust, obedience, and growth.
Too often, we linger at the mountains of fear, comfort, or regret. But in Messiah Yeshua, we are called forward—into purpose, freedom, and maturity. His love redeems our past and equips us for what’s ahead.
Questions for personal reflection:
What “mountain” have I been camped at too long?
How is God calling me to step forward in faith this week?
Am I trusting His promises or letting fear dictate my direction?
Let us pray,
ADONAI, thank You for leading me in love and truth. Help me leave behind what hinders me and move forward in faith. Strengthen me through Your Word and in Messiah Yeshua, Amen.
